EXP:
The small, blue thing in the corner if your EXP meter. If you fill it up completely (by killing), you level-up. The more you level up, the more special moves you can buy, such as special combos, extra health, or a stronger ranged weapon. You gain more EXP per kill if you kill them specially. The more enemies you kill quickly, the way you kill them goes up-from fair, to good, to excellent, to perfect. When you manage it to get to perfect, your weapons will glow and for a limited time all your kills will be one-hit and be perfects. Hint To automatically get up to excellent killing, knock back an enemy (using X) off some sort of ledge (if possible).

PROLOGUE:
You start as Isildur, leading the alliance of men and elves to attack Mordor. You have all of the moves you can get as Isildur in the game, though, if it is your first time playing, you should just do what they tell you to. This is a simple level, given the immense amounts of health you have.

LEVEL 1: Weathertop
You play as Aragon. You'reYour job it to eliminate the Nozgul attacking Frodo. Your sword will not do anything, so swing your torch with Y. You may notice your torch go out, and then you must run to the campfire, press Y to swing your torch, and re-light it. About midway through, Frodo will get stabbed and lose some health. This may be the only time he ever loses health in the level if you're playing on easy mode. Just eliminate all of the Nozgul quickly. Their blades do not do to much damage to yourself.

LEVEL 1: Gates of Moria
This is the first level where you have the choice of your character-you may play as Aragon, Legolas, or Gimli. If you play as Aragon or Legolas, Gimli will join you. If you play as Gimli, Aragon will join you. I recommend Legolas or Aragon, because Gimli is slower and does not have as much ranged ammo, which you will need. Before running down the slope, break the iced-over box. It will give you some sort of satchel that increases your EXP. Continue running down and there will be en explosion and goblins will run out. Kill them and grab any potions you can. Next, Gimli will run forward. A goblin will sneak up behind him and Aragon or Legolas (whichever one is accompanying) will save him by shooting the goblin with an arrow. It will start to get harder from here as archers will start firing. Use your ranged weapon best as you can. Your partner won't be a very skilled fighter and probably won't be able to defend you from charging goblins, so shoot as quickly as you can. Continue forward and grab any red potions you can. You will need them. Gimli will announce something about his cousin Balin and more archers will fire. Keep moving forward. Goblins will swarm. This may be the hardest part of the level. Just try to stay alive between the close attack men and the archers, grabbing any potions possible. If you're low on arrows, instead of potions, arrows will appear. This will be a problem, so you should definitely refill on arrows ASAP so you can continue getting potions. Go through the tunnel and kill any goblins in your way. As you round the corner, you will encounter a few more goblins. Make quick work of them and move into the swamp area. Your movement will be greatly slowed here due to the high water, so stay on land and take out the archers as much as you can. Tentacles may grab some goblins, but it's supposed to and it will not grab you. Your partner will be little to no help in this place (as if he was anyway!) because he will move even slower than you. Move through the swamp safely, grabbing any potions possible, and continue to the first boss battle.
BOSS BATTLE: The Watcher
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (GCN) Walkthrough - Big Boy Battles
(Sort of what he looks like...)
You come to a round lake. Your partner moves ahead and drops his guard. Suddenly, a tentacle pops up and smacks him down, unconscious. You get ready as a great water beast reveals itself! The Watcher will swipe at you with it's tentacles. Parry them to make him shake them off. Wade into the water and cut it off with your melee weapon and The Watcher will pop it's head up. Use your ranged weapon to hit him here. It takes 4 hits to defeat him on easy mode, and not too many more on medium or hard. Continue this process. If you need more ammo, there is a restock behind you. It's not a very hard battle.

LEVEL 2: Balin's Tomb
This is my favorite level of the game because this is the only battle where the whole Fellowship (other than Sam, Merry, and Pippin) fight together. However, you still can only choose between Aragon, Legolas, and Gimli (making Frodo, Gandalf, and Boromir the NPCs that will fight beside you), and I would choose Legolas due to his large arrow capacity and speedy attacks. The level starts with Gandalf reading a line from a book. Goblins begin gathering at the barred door. They barge it down and come swarming in. Fight for your life! Though there are 5 partners, they still wont help much. If Frodo or anyone else calls your character's name, it means nothing, as Frodo or any others do not have any risk of dying in this level. If the character you are using now has leveled up and you bought a special move, try it out. This is a good level to try learning your combos.
BOSS BATTLE: Cave Troll
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (GCN) Walkthrough - Big Boy Battles
(They had a lot more images of this guy. Attractive...)
Suddenly, after a while, a troll breaks through the door. He will club around with his mace, but he is searching for you alone. Fire arrows at him. Do not risk a close attack-you will lose substantial amounts of health. If you are low on health, green potions, more powerful than red potions, have started to appear. Eventually, after you have done about a quarter of the troll's health, he will break his mace by accident and take the chain off his neck and use it as a whip. You will jump onto a raised platform and fire arrows at him to continue the fight. Hide behind the pillars as a defense, then attack him when his whip is back. If his whip gets caught in the pillar, fire as quickly as you can until he breaks the pillar and will whip again quickly. If you need more arrows, they usually reappear on the right side. If you need more health, kill one of the goblins that comes up to meet you on the raised area and a potion will come from him. Eventually, the troll will fall and your character will gain a lot of EXP.
LEVEL 3: Amon Hen
This is the final level of The Fellowship of the Ring segment of the game. You start with Aragon, Legolas, and Gimli defending Frodo from many, many Uruk-Hai. I'd suggest Aragon because he has a good combination of speed and power, plus arrows won't be of much use here. Go up the ruin staircase and break the box to grab a satchel that inscreases your EXP. After defeating the Uruk-Hai on the plain, the other two partners will leave you to go fight somewhere else, as Boromir continues blowing the horn of Gondor. Watch the healthbar of Frodo on the top of the screen-if it goes all the way down, they will have captured Frodo and the Ring. Also watch the Uruk-Hai number. As soon as it goes down to zero, Frodo will be safe. Continue moving until you reach the ruin structure with the arches. You can go up the ramp on the other side to find another box with a satchel. Continue moving on. It will be hard to get excellents and perfects here because about 5 attack you at once, and that's not enough to get up to perfect, plus it's hard to not get hit. Continue going straight until you hit ruin once again and go down a small staircase. If you look to the back you can see a small vine door that you can break with a fierce attack (Y). If you go inside you can find another box and a satchel. Continue moving forward through a large ruin structure. Keep killing Uruk-Hai-you should be down to the teens by now-keep fighting and go down another staircase to meet up with the other two partners fighting until you make it to a bridge. The Uruk-Hai will surround you and your partners. Just defeat the ones on the left (until the Uruks are down to 0) and then continue on to the left to fight the boss and attempt to save Boromir (he's been blowing that horn throughout the whole level!).
BOSS BATTLE: Lurtz
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (GCN) Walkthrough - Big Boy Battles
(What is it with the unnatractive bosses in this game!?)
Lurtz will fire arrows at you. Fire arrows back at him until he stops and picks up a requiem. He will charge at you. Don't try to parry, but let him get his blade stuck in one of the statues. Strike him quickly. Once he breaks the statue, just move onto the next one. Some of his Uruk-buddies may come. Make quick work of them and continue attacking Lurtz. See, he's not that scary!

LEVEL 4: Fangorn Forest
Following the Aragon, Legolas, and Gimli story over Frodo and Sam, you move into Fangorn Forest, hoping to track down Pippin and Merry. This mission is the first that you can take nice and slow at your own pace, so try out Gimli if you haven't already. As you move forward, you will eventually come to some sort of wooden wall. It opens and orcs pour out with shields! Weaker, non-shielded orcs come from above! I suggest using the hold-down Y attack if you have bought it. If not, get rid of the unshielded ones first, then go for the shielded ones. Next, you encounter an orc berserker. This is your first one and they are tough because they are quick. If you can manage to knock them down and use your killing move that is perfect. However, this is hard to do. Just get past him best you can. He may leave a potion if you are hurt. Next, you will encounter a troll. No health bar, which makes him officially NOT a boss. He is easier to defeat than the one in Balin's Tomb. Continue after and you will meet with some orcs, throwing others into a pit with...something...in it. They will then stay distracted. I would charge up an arrow/clave long enough and then throw it at one. It may kill them, but the rest will charge, saying "Now we have some sport!". If you think you can survive, you can corner yourself to get another satchel for extra EXP. If not, defeat the orcs, then go back for it later. Continue to the lake. This is a good chance to get some excellents. Kill the shield fighter, then kick the two archers off. Each will get you en excellent. Continue through the swamp. Your movement will be hurt. Look for disturbance in the water-orcs will pop up. Continue into the cavern. TROLL! Take care of him quickly and move on. You will encounter another berserker. Defeat him and you'll encounter some close attack non-shielded orcs and some archers. Not to hard. Next you come to a big fight with a bunch of shieldless which are easy to kill. You could possibly muster up some perfects if your using a faster character, like Aragon or Legolas. Move on and we come to the final place of our 5th level. Two trolls reside here. You can take the hard way and go up the middle, but there is also a secret way. Go to the right and break the branches. A box with a green potion. Kill the two trolls and move on. No boss fight this time.

LEVEL 5: Plains of Rohan
Well, we couldn't find Pippin and Merry, but we did find Gandalf! He has assured us they are safe and we have rode to Rohan, where trouble is brewing. Saruman's forces are attacking a village and they need our help! Whoever you choose, I'd suggest someone quick, Gandalf will accompany you and he is probably the only actually helpful partner in the game. Gandalf uses his magic blasts to kill a lot of Uruk-Hai! After killing them all in the entrance place, Gandalf will knock a door open for you and say he is needed elsewhere, teleporting off. Darn it! On your own again! Hit the barrel and the fire will be put out the the villagers on the other side will escape. Watch the health bar in the corner of the screen-if it goes all the way down, you lose the level. After the harsh cutscence, run up the stairs and kill the Uruk-Hai quickly. Leave the house and defeat the Uruk-Hai attacking the people. Also take care of the bowmen and run across the roof. Shoot the barrel to put out the fire and break the barrier to free the people. Go into the house the burning man is coming out of and go down stairs. Break through the door and re-meet with Gandalf. Kill all of the Uruk-Hai and proceed up the hill. A large battle is going on! The Rohan soldiers do almost nothing, and Gandalf apparently got tired and won't do nearly as much. However, there is a couple stuck inside a house that is burning. Knock the wood away from the front of the house after all Uruk-Hai outside of the house are killed to free the couple. If you do not, you lose the level. There is a barrel on the far right. It has a satchel for extra EXP. Congratulations! You have saved this part of Rohan!

LEVEL 6: The Westfold
Gandalf left again =[ and left you with the soldiers and their Captain as your partner. The Captain will never die, but is basically as useless as his soldiers. Uruk-Hai are moving explosive devices through the town. Shoot arrows or throw claves when Uruk-Hai are near the explosives at the explosives to kill the Uruk-Hai near them. This level can be very easy if you use the explosives to your advantage. Continue moving, using the explosives best you can. Once you make it to the river, go up to find in the north part of the river a box with a satchel for extra EXP. Continue moving forward, fighting without explosives for now. Eventually, some suicide-Uruk-Hai-bombers will show up. Shoot them when they are afar or near other Uruk-Hai. You will now be in a large part of town where many explosives are, but many suicide-Uruk-Hai are coming as well. Kill as many Uruk-Hai using the explosives and suicide-Uruk-Hai as you can. Don't be afraid to hit the soldiers will explosives too-it serves them right for being so useless. Next shows a cutscene of some soldiers trying to hold many Uruk-Hai at the gate. They're so powerless I almost feel bad. Shoot the explosive that you can see before going down the hill and shoot the rest. The Captain should move forward, but don't worry about him. He's invincible. Go through and your character will say a comment about something, such as "I can't get past that!". O rly? Go on the other side and go up the stairs. Shoot one of the barrels to douse the first fire, then break the others to douse the second one. Go back down and through where the fire used to be. Break open the box for another EXP-gaining satchel. Move forward and Uruk-Hai will charge at you, mostly suicide-bombers. Kill all of them and move up the hill. Keep fighting, being cautious not to get too close to any explosives. Break the wheelbarrow and move into the lake, as they load lots of explosives onto large carts. Wade across the lake, watching out for Uruk-Hai popping out from underwater and suicide-bombers running from the land on the other side. Destroy one of the explosive carts and the Captain will declare history. You, the Captain, and the surviving Rohan warriors shall move for Helm's Deep, to make the final stand.

LEVEL 7: Gap of Rohan
Warg-riding orcs are on there way to attack the refugees, and it's up to you and the others to defend them! Going back to the burning village, your character and the other two main characters fight off some Warg-riders. You can use anyone for this mission. Destroy the wood pile and go to the field where you will fight the rest of them. Kill the Wargs sent at you and fight another boss!
BOSS BATTLE: Warg Leader
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (GCN) Walkthrough - Big Boy Battles
(You can't really see this one, but I doubt he's a trophy-boss, if you know what I mean.)
His health is high. His attack is high. His difficulty isn't high, it just takes patience. Stay in the river when he's on the other side and wait for him to show his Warg's stomach. Run out of the river and shoot him or throw a clave at him. Then, go in and use fierce attacks, or the charge Y attack if you have bought it. Run back quickly. He may send another Warg fighter. Kill that one and if you're low on health or arrows, take the rewards he leaves. Time for the last segment of the game, once the Warg leader falls.

LEVEL 8: The Deeping Wall
This is a defense level. The only place to go is the upside-down T shaped wall. I highly suggest Aragon above the others. Your two other allies that you did not choose will be on the wall on the left and right, and will fight there a lot better than any of the elf-soldiers. Kick the ladders down with X to keep them off the wall. Watch the meter in the right. If it goes all the way red and starts to flash, start killing faster and kicking down more ladders. Barrels are scattered throughout the wall with potions in them. I have not found any satchels on this level, and due to it being small, I doubt there are any, though you will gain a lot of EXP. Cutscenes will show you what's coming next-from arrow volleys to flaming catapults. The only thing the soldiers are good for is that they actually knock down the enemy, allowing you to simply use a killing move to finish them off. There is everything from shieldless orcs, to shielded goblins, to armored Uruk-Hai on this level, so things can get hectic. If the meter starts flashing, don't fret-it's been my experience that I've gotten it from flashing red back down to almost empty-blue before. Eventually, a brigade of elvish archers will take the rest of them out. At the end of the level, they finally end up destroying the wall, unfortunately.

LEVEL 9: The Breached Wall
So they got through and made a huge gap in the wall..while your two partners and the rest of the elves fight on top of the wall, you single-handedly defend the door leading to the women and children. You can use anyone on this level-it's been my experience that since range isn't a huge factor, Gimli is a good choice, if you know what you'll be up against. It will start simply with suicide fighters. Shoot them as they are back. Orcs will charge with them eventually, and if you can hit the suicide fighters at the right time, you can obliterate the orcs with them. Watch out for the door's health-it will take a beating, but if it's flashing red and they haven't even brought out the catapult, you're done for. Uruk-Hai berserkers return and will be a quite a burden. If you have your charge Y move, which I highly suggest you should by now, it can be a good help when eliminating many orcs near the door. Potions and ammo appear frequently, so for the most part, just watch out for the door. A group of archers will appear and fire at the wall. If you chose Legolas, shoot at them quickly once you can. If you chose Gimli, run up and use any powerful combos you've bought. A troll will also appear. Your charge Y move will be a big help in defeating him. After you defeat the troll, out comes an Uruk-Hai captain with a catapult. Defeat the captain (he's faster than a normal Uruk-Hai, but not as fast as a berserker) and then, because it has a health bar, I suppose it's time for another boss fight, your last one of the game.
BOSS BATTLE: Catapult
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (GCN) Walkthrough - Big Boy Battles
(Well, better no face than an ugly one.)
This fiery-rock flinging catapult does massive damage to the door! If the door wasn't in the green zone, it will easily be destroyed. Kill the Uruk-Hai surrounding it and then use your charge Y (it's really important here), strong combos, or fierce attacks if you must to destroy all 3 of the sides. It will be a very close call, but don't give up! You may not need to charge your charge Y all the way. Once it's defeated, the rock it was about to fire collapses onto it and escaping Uruk-Hai are shot down. Gimli runs at an orc and shows him why not to mess with a dwarf. Almost done! Just one more level to go!

LEVEL 10: The Hornburg Courtyard
This is it. The fate of Rohan will be decided here. They have broken through, but not all is lost! Fight as hard as you can! Aragon is easily the best character to choose here for being balanced and because it fits the story best. Start fighting hard against Uruk-Hai and shielded goblins. No berserkers yet. Gimli will be with you, defending the wooden wall. It's stronger than the door in the last one, but there are far more orcs this time. Whichever tall guy you didn't pick (Legolas if you picked Gimli) is up the stairs on the wall all the way to the left. Continue fighting and soon the tall guy upstairs is in trouble! A health bar appears, depleting fast. Hurry up there and help Legolas/Aragon kill all of the Uruk-Hai attacking him and the health bar will dissapear and Legolas/Aragon will come down part of the way with you. However, the person left defending the gate has allowed some Uruk-Hai to get through!! Go back and kill them. After a while, a soldier will yell "Archers on the wall!" Go back up the stairs and kill all of the archers by shooting across to the other wall. Then, go back down. Two trolls!! They will beat down on you as the Uruk-Hai continue on the wall. Use your charge Y (I'm assuming that by now you have at least one of them) to make quick work of the trolls and they will fall, crushing the wooden wall. The Uruk-Hai will charge through. Luckily, you actually have succeeded the mission. Sit back and relax as you watch the cutscene unfold. Pat yourself on the back! You completed the main part of this game!

SECRETS OF THE GAME:
Secret Character
After beating The Hornburg Courtyard, you can now play as Isildur, son of the king, who you could only play as in the prologue. He will take the place of Aragon on your missions, but only when you play as him.
*NOTE: He is the only other character you can play as. There is no way to play as Gandalf, Frodo, Boromir, Elrond, or any other character you fight aside.

Interviews with the cast
You get interviews of Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, and Peter Jackon and Barry Osborne by beating Gates of Moria. You can also get to talk to Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom, and John Rhys-Daives about the game by getting to level 5 with the respective character they play. (i.e., to get the interview of Viggo Mortensen, reach level 5 with Aragon)

Art
To get Concept Art, complete Gates of Moria. To get Fellowship of the Ring photos, beat Balin's Tomb with any character. To get Fangorn and Orthanc photos, beat Fangorn Forest with any character. To get Rohan and Helms Deep photos, beat Plains of Rohan with any character.

Secret Missions
To unlock Secret Missions for each character, beat The Deeping Wall and reach level 10 with that character. You will go on a secret mission climbing up the 20 floors of Orthanc. You will not get to fight Saruman at the end. *GUIDE FOR SECRET MISSION POSSIBLY COMING SOON*

Secret Codes
To unlock the Secret Codes, you must beat Isildur's secret mission. I believe you unlock Isildur's secret mission by beating Aragon's secret mission.
