The Big Boy Battles AmendmentsYour rights, your place on the site, and more.
NOT based off of the US Amendments whatsoever.
NOTE: The Rules come before the Amendments. For example, even though you have Freedom of Speech, you can't flame someone, because that is against the rules.
1st Amendment: Authority
There are 6 main authority levels on the site. They are as follows:
Creator
Leader: Catnip
Authority: *****
Catnip is the only member of the Creator column and can do whatever he wants whenever he wants. So ha! XD
Elite 3
Leader: Comic-lover#1
Authority: ****
Comic-lover#1, Chef_Rusty, and Natasia belong to this group. They are in charge when I'm not here. They must listen to the Admin and Mod Rules, as well as the site rules, but they can break these rules a bit more freely than those with less authority.
Moderators
Leader: Johnnygun
Authority: ***
The Moderators (Mods for short) are just under the Elite 3 and Catnip and have basic equal permissions: Can edit pages, give warnings, etc., however, they must listen to Catnip and the Elite 3. They must listen to Admin and Mod Rules, as well as the Site Rules.
Writers
Leader: -
Authority: **
Writers are anyone who have won the Writer Position but have not yet written a battle. Despite her permissions being Writer, Natasia is one of the Elite 3. They must listen to Admin and Mod rules, as well as the Site Rules.
Registered Users
Leader: -
Authority: *
Anyone who only has permissions of editing their own profile and adding comments are Reg. Users. They make up most of the site. They must listen to the Site Rules.
Banned
Leader: -
Authority:
Banned members are prohibited on the site and have no authority, although a decent apology on WPC to me can give them one-star of authority and into the Reg. User class, although ex-Banned users can not become Writers or Mods for a period of time designated by Catnip.
The Leader of a section (if there is one) makes the decision should the group disagree on something.
2nd Amendment: Freedoms
These are the main rights you have as a User (that means anyone) on the site.
Speech
You have Freedom of Speech against any of my decisions, to some extent. You can not say "Dude, that idea sucks" without some solid stuff behind it. You may speak out against or for what I say or do.
Press
If you send in a story or battle for me to post, it can be about anything, to some extent. You can not write anything intersecting with the rules, such as something more than PG rated.
Act
You have the freedom to Act, which is what you say, how you say it, etc., to some extent. You can not act like a troll just to give yourself a reputation or something.
Graphic
As a user, you can post any graphics or make any graphics you want to some extent. You can't post pornography, etc. You can, however, choose your avatar, etc.
Belief
You may believe what you like, including religion, how you think about a user, etc., as long as you do not say anything out loud that would violate any rules.
3rd Amendment: Banning
Banning is a serious offense and should not be taken lightly if it is an actual user. If it is a random account just signed up to spam us, banning is not so serious.
When Banning is Appropriate
Banning is appropriate for one day upon fourth warning for an offense. Warnings expire upon the turn of the month, so if they do three things in November and one thing in December, they can not be banned. Banning is appropriate for two days upon fifth warning, and it goes on. However, some rules, such as Rule 1, say after two offenses banning is necessary. You may then take out the Banning for as long as specified only after notifying Catnip of the offenses. Then, Catnip will ban the user.
Permanent Banning
Permanent Banning is quite rare for a real user (although any attackers are immediately Permanently Banned). The person can come back from Permanent Banning by writing me a true and sincere apology on Wetpaint Central and they will be welcomed back to the site, however, they may not become a Writer or Mod for an amount of time set by me depending on the offense and start with an automatic two warnings, meaning that, if before the turn of the month, they get warned twice, it's another one day ban.
